The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA) requires schools to provide parents of a child with a disability with a notice containing a full explanation of the procedural safeguards available under the IDEA and its implementing regulations. We have provided a copy of the procedural safeguards, along with a guide to the Admissions, Review, and Dismissal Process (ARD) under the Parent Resources to the right.
